SUMMARY:How to Host a Walking School Bus Training
DESCRIPTION: A walking school bus (WSB) is a safe and fun way for children to get physical activity as they travel to and from school with adult supervision. Each “bus” walks along a set route with one or more adults leading it. The adults chaperone the children on their way to school. In neighborhoods like Chinatown and the Excelsior\, school communities congregate at parks near their schools and walk together as a large group. Join us for our next training to learn how to host a walking school bus at your school.

DESCRIPTION:Freedom from Training Wheels is a great way to get kids riding without training wheels. Bring your child’s bike and helmet if you have them. If not\, we have a few balance bikes for children aged 2-5. Our instructors will work with your young people to get them striding\, rolling\, and pedaling in no time. SUMMARY:TALLER DE BICICLETAS PARA FAMILIAS (EN ESPAÑOL)
DESCRIPTION:  \nParticipe en nuestro taller familiar para conocer las reglas básicas de cómo andar en bicicleta en San Francisco. Habrá dos talleres\, uno para adultos o jóvenes mayores de 12 años y otro para niños de edades 2-12 años. No se necesitará tener una bicicleta para participar en los talleres. Se proporcionará almuerzo. \n11:30-1:30 Clase Para Adultos: Ciclismo Seguro.  \nEsta clase es para las personas mayores de 12 años. Discutiremos los reglamentos de tránsito para bicicletas\, como planear su ruta\, y mucho más. Esta clase servirá como una introducción para las personas que quieren aprender como andar en bicicletas por la ciudad o que quieren mejorar sus habilidades como ciclista urbano. No se necesitará bicicleta para tomar el curso. \n11:30-2:00 Clase de Ciclismo Para Niños (edades 2-12 años).  \nEn colaboración con el programa YBike del YMCA\, este programa le enseñará a los niños como andar en bicicleta seguramente.
